On this week’s episode, the gang discusses one of the most infamous big budget films of all time - Waterworld, AKA Kevin’s Gate, AKA Fishtar. Waterworld was the most expensive movie ever made, at the time, and was plagued by bad press, difficult production, and clashes between the main star and director. Not A Bomb could not tackle such a film on their own, so they called friend of the show - Josh from The VHS Files podcast to assist in the discussion. Was Waterworld the disaster the press made it out to be? Was this a case of critics reviewing the budget rather than the film? Or is this really a simple and fun Mad Max ripoff with some spectacular action sequences? Listen and find out!
