Directed by Not A Bomb favorite, Joe Johnston, The Wolfman is a remake of the 1941 film of the same name. Episode 68 - Double Dragon
Video game month comes to an end and the boys tackle one last movie based on a video game property! For this ultimate episode of video game bombs, Brad and Troy tackle 1994’s Double Dragon . They couldn’t endure this bomb alone! Once again, Not A Bomb welcomes back fan favorite John Nance to the podcast. The screenwriters tried to turn a 1987 side scrolling beat’ em up game into a kid friendly action / adventure film that has all the charm of………………ok, it’s totally terrible! But hey - Robert Patrick is cool!
Let’s face it. The less said about Double Dragon the better. The film has a terrible script, cheesy dialogue, bad acting, so-so action, lackluster pacing, and Scott Wolf. Sadly, podcast favorite Mark Dacascos can’t even save this film. Spoiler alert - this film is a total bomb! DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE!
Also, Troy reveals that he has never seen Breaking Bad and almost gets kicked off the podcast!
