Zodiac was critically adored when it was released in March 2007 but, fortunately, was overshadowed by Wild Hogs…yes, Wild Hogs. Troy, Angel, and Brad go on a 2 hour journey discussing the film and the Zodiac murders themselves.

The guys kick off the show discussing Shane Black, and all the Shane Blackisms found in his movies. Then they take a journey down the film noir rabbit hole, where they breakdown what truly makes a film “noir”. Finally, they decide if The Nice Guys deserves to be labeled a bomb.

The film mixes various movie genres into a “hybridization” of neo-noir, western, action, and, musical elements. Released along side classic films like Karate Kid, Ghostbusters, Germlins, and Star Trek III, Streets of Fire found itself disappearing out of theaters with little fanfare. Now, 36 years later, Not A Bomb is examining why this movie struggled to find an audience.
