Welcome to the 100th episode of Not A Bomb! This is the podcast where we reexamine some of the biggest bombs in cinema history and see if these films deserve a second chance. Troy and Brad want to thank all the listeners for supporting the show over these first 100 episodes! All of you have recommended some amazing bombs and given us so much fantastic feedback on these forgotten gems.
For this special episode, the guys decided to tackle a few of the most iconic sci-fi / horror films that are also known for being epic bombs on their initial release (ok, not the first movie, but the other two had a pretty rough theatrical debut). This week, Troy and Brad are discussing 1951’s - The Thing From Another World, 1982’s - The Thing and 2011’s prequel - The Thing.
The guys take a moment to also look back at some of their favorite moments from the first 99 episodes and share some pretty cool feedback from their most loyal listeners.

Oh boy, do we have a doozy for you this week…I promise, you won’t SEE this one coming. On this week’s show, we welcome Josh from The VHS Files podcast to discuss 1989/1990’s action, comedy - Blind Fury. Loosely based on the 17th film from a classic Japanese franchise, Blind Fury stars the legendary Rutger Hauer as a blind, sword-wielding veteran helping a young boy reunite with his father. Oh yeah…..freaking Sho Kosugi shows up to deliver some flippy Ninja action at the end. Luckily, Rutger can’t see what he’s up against (ok, last bad pun…promise).
