Spooktober continues on the latest episode of Not A Bomb! Troy and Brad travel back to the amazing film year of 1988 and discuss the gooey monster flick, The Blob. A remake of the 1958 sci-fi classic, The Blob is a special effects powerhouse and arguably one of the greatest remakes of all time. Sadly, this film was released in 1988 along with some of the greatest films of all time. Seriously, 1988 was an insane year for films!

Troy and Brad kick off the show talking about all the wonderful horror films of 1988, discuss some of their favorite special effects from this week’s film, explain why this remake lands while movies like The Wolfman fails, and gush over Shawnee Smith and Kevin Dillon. Folks, if you have not seen this film, do yourself a favor and watch this movie. It is one of the best horror films of all time. Spoiler - it’s NOT A BOMB!

The Blob is directed by Chuck Russell and stars Kevin Dillion, Shawnee Smith, Donovan Leitch, Jeffery DeMunn, Candy Clark, and Joe Seneca.
