Episode 114 - Cloak & Dagger

Welcome back to your favorite podcast that goes back and reexamines some cinema’s biggest bombs. On this week’s show, we welcome back Sammy from the GGTMC to discuss 1984’s Cloak & Dagger, also known as “baby’s first Hitchcock film.” Davey, your typical 80’s latchkey kid, is on the search for a video game cartridge with important military secrets. This film is filled with kids in peril, imaginary friends, airport terrorism, and grown men trying to murder children? Yeah, the film gets a little dark in places. The show is an interesting discussion on 80’s films, in general and asks the question, “Can nostalgia affect your ability to be critical of a film.”
