Hey Bombers, welcome back to a new episode of Not A Bomb. This week Troy and Brad are graciously joined, once again, by Bret Saxton to discuss the 1984 Rock & Roll Fable - Streets of Fire. The film mixes various movie genres into a “hybridization” of neo-noir, western, action, and, musical elements. Released along side classic films like Karate Kid, Ghostbusters, Germlins, and Star Trek III, Streets of Fire found itself disappearing out of theaters with little fanfare. Now, 36 years later, Not A Bomb is examining why this movie struggled to find an audience.
